Les préparatifs pour l’Unicon 22 – Championnat du monde de monocycle 2026 à Steyr battent leur plein. Nous souhaitons vous informer de plusieurs mises à jour et rappels importants qui concernent l’ensemble des participant·e·s.

🗓️ Programme final publié

Le programme final de l’Unicon 22 a été publié.

Par rapport aux versions précédentes, certains points ont encore été modifiés. Nous invitons donc toutes les personnes participantes à consulter le programme actuel afin de se familiariser avec le déroulement prévu.

Veuillez noter que, dans certains cas, de légers ajustements pourront encore être nécessaires une fois la clôture des inscriptions atteinte et les effectifs définitifs confirmés. Cela peut notamment concerner la durée de certaines disciplines.

Il est également prévu à ce stade que les disciplines 10K et Criterium puissent être interverties si nécessaire. En cas de changement, nous vous en informerons en temps utile.

⏰ Rappel : date limite de paiement et certificat médical

Nous vous rappelons que le 15 février 2026 constitue la date limite de paiement pour la première phase d’inscription. L’inscription n’est considérée comme définitive qu’après réception du paiement.

Pour participer aux compétitions, un Medical Fitness Certificate est obligatoire pour chaque personne. Ce certificat médical atteste de l’aptitude à la compétition, ne doit pas dater de plus de 12 mois et doit être téléchargé sur le portail d’inscription.

🏑 Sports d’équipe – clarifications importantes

Concernant les sports d’équipe, nous souhaitons apporter les précisions suivantes :

Hockey
Un tournoi féminin ainsi qu’un tournoi junior (0–16 ans) seront organisés. Pour ces deux tournois, l’inscription est possible uniquement par équipe ; les inscriptions individuelles ne sont pas prévues.

Les tournois féminin et junior de hockey seront organisés en tant que tournois loisirs. Aucun titre de champion du monde n’y sera décerné. Ces tournois peuvent être sélectionnés en complément de Hockey A ou Hockey B.

Basketball
Le tournoi junior (0–16 ans) aura lieu à partir d’un minimum de six équipes. Si ce nombre n’est pas atteint, les équipes inscrites seront intégrées au tournoi Basketball B.

Le tournoi junior de basketball sera également organisé comme tournoi loisirs, sans titre de champion du monde. La participation n’est possible que dans un seul tournoi : Basketball A, Basketball B ou Junior.

🎬 Unicon 22 Movie Night

Nous avons le plaisir d’annoncer un autre temps fort du programme de l’Unicon 22 : la Unicon Movie Night.

La Movie Night aura lieu le 01.08.2026 et offrira une scène aux vidéos de monocycle de la communauté – des riders individuels aux équipes.

Conditions de participation et règles :
Pour soumettre une vidéo, les critères suivants s’appliquent :

• La participation nécessite un Unicon 22 Competitor ou Non-Competitor Pass
• Date limite de soumission : 19.07.2026
• Durée maximale de la vidéo : 3 minutes
  (des exceptions sont possibles ; merci de consulter au préalable le directeur Jelle Dillen)
• Maximum une vidéo par rider ou équipe
• La vidéo doit être en format paysage
• La vidéo ne doit pas être publiée avant la Movie Night
• La vidéo doit être fournie à l’avance via un lien cloud (par exemple WeTransfer ou Google Drive)

Le soir de la Movie Night, les vidéos pourront, sur demande, être publiées sous forme de première YouTube. Toutes les vidéos publiées sur YouTube seront ensuite regroupées dans une playlist Unicon 22 Movie Night.

Soumission des vidéos :

L’e-mail doit contenir les informations suivantes :

• Titre de la vidéo
• Brève description du rider et/ou de l’équipe
• Optionnel : informations complémentaires sur la vidéo
• Objet de l’e-mail : « Unicon Movie Night – Nom »
  (« Nom » = titre de la vidéo ou nom du rider/de l’équipe)

Si plus de vidéos sont soumises que ce qui peut être diffusé lors de la Movie Night, 20 vidéos seront sélectionnées pour la projection. Toutes les autres vidéos soumises seront diffusées pendant l’Unicon dans les zones sociales.

De plus amples informations concernant la Movie Night seront publiées prochainement sur notre site web.

🛏️ Hébergement et camping

Les enfants âgés de 0 à 5 ans (U6) peuvent participer gratuitement en tant que Non-Competitors.

Pour les enfants qui n’ont pas besoin de lit individuel, merci de ne pas réserver de lit sur le portail d’inscription. Dans ce cas, veuillez contacter notre équipe d’organisation à l’avance afin que nous puissions en tenir compte dans la planification de l’hébergement.

La répartition des chambres (qui dort avec qui) sera organisée séparément à une date ultérieure. Aucune action n’est requise pour le moment.

Nous souhaitons également vous informer que nous sommes actuellement dans la phase finale de préparation afin de proposer un camping directement au sein de l’Unicon Village. Dès que des informations définitives seront disponibles, elles seront publiées sans délai.

Le camping en bord de rivière à Steyr est déjà complet. Nous vous prions donc de ne plus adresser de demandes à ce camping.

Los preparativos para el Unicon 22 – Campeonato Mundial de Monociclismo 2026 en Steyr están en pleno desarrollo. Queremos informaros sobre varias actualizaciones y recordatorios importantes que son relevantes para todas las personas participantes.

🗓️ Programa final publicado

El programa final del Unicon 22 ya ha sido publicado.

En comparación con versiones anteriores, se han realizado algunos cambios. Por ello, pedimos a todas las personas participantes que revisen el programa actual para estar informadas sobre el desarrollo previsto del evento.

Tened en cuenta que, en casos puntuales, todavía pueden producirse pequeños ajustes una vez cerrado el plazo de inscripción y confirmadas las cifras finales de participantes. Esto puede afectar especialmente a la duración de algunas disciplinas.

Actualmente también está previsto que, si fuera necesario, las disciplinas 10K y Criterium puedan intercambiarse. En caso de que se produzcan cambios, los comunicaremos con la debida antelación.

⏰ Recordatorio: plazo de pago y certificado médico

Os recordamos que el 15 de febrero de 2026 es el último día para realizar el pago de la primera fase de inscripción. La inscripción solo se considera completada una vez recibido el pago.

Para participar en las competiciones, es obligatorio que cada persona presente un Medical Fitness Certificate. Este certificado médico confirma la aptitud para competir, no puede tener una antigüedad superior a 12 meses y debe subirse al portal de inscripción.

🏑 Deportes de equipo – aclaraciones importantes

En el ámbito de los deportes de equipo, queremos aclarar los siguientes puntos:

Hockey
Habrá un torneo femenino y un torneo junior (0–16 años). En ambos casos, la inscripción solo es posible como equipo; no se admiten inscripciones individuales.

Tanto el torneo femenino como el torneo junior de hockey se disputarán como torneos recreativos. En estos torneos no se otorgará ningún título mundial. Ambos pueden seleccionarse adicionalmente a Hockey A o Hockey B.

Baloncesto
El torneo junior (0–16 años) se llevará a cabo a partir de un mínimo de seis equipos. Si no se alcanza esta cifra, los equipos inscritos pasarán al torneo de Basketball B.

El torneo junior de baloncesto también se celebrará como torneo recreativo, sin título mundial. La participación solo es posible en un torneo: Basketball A, Basketball B o Junior.

🎬 Unicon 22 Movie Night

Nos complace anunciar otro punto destacado del programa del Unicon 22: la Unicon Movie Night.

La Movie Night tendrá lugar el 01.08.2026 y ofrecerá un espacio para vídeos de monociclismo de la comunidad, tanto de riders individuales como de equipos.

Requisitos de participación y normas:
Para enviar un vídeo, se aplican las siguientes condiciones:

• La participación solo es posible con un Unicon 22 Competitor o Non-Competitor Pass
• Fecha límite de envío: 19.07.2026
• Duración máxima del vídeo: 3 minutos
  (pueden hacerse excepciones; en ese caso, es necesario consultar previamente con el director Jelle Dillen)
• Máximo un vídeo por rider o equipo
• El vídeo debe estar en formato horizontal (landscape)
• El vídeo no debe publicarse antes de la Movie Night
• El vídeo debe proporcionarse previamente mediante un enlace en la nube (por ejemplo, WeTransfer o Google Drive)

La noche de la Movie Night, los vídeos pueden publicarse opcionalmente como estrenos en YouTube. Todos los vídeos disponibles en YouTube se agruparán posteriormente en una lista de reproducción de la Unicon 22 Movie Night.

🛏️ Alojamiento y camping

Los niños de 0 a 5 años (U6) pueden participar gratuitamente como Non-Competitors.

Para los niños que no necesiten una cama propia, os pedimos que no reservéis cama en el portal de inscripción. En este caso, contactad con antelación con nuestro equipo organizador para que podamos tenerlo en cuenta en la planificación del alojamiento.

La asignación de habitaciones (quién duerme con quién) se realizará por separado en una fase posterior. Actualmente no es necesaria ninguna acción.

Además, queremos informaros de que nos encontramos en la fase final de preparación para poder ofrecer un camping directamente junto al Unicon Village. En cuanto dispongamos de información vinculante, la publicaremos de inmediato.

El camping junto al río en Steyr ya está completamente reservado. Por ello, os rogamos que no realicéis más consultas a este camping.

Preparations for the Unicon 22 – Unicycling World Championship 2026 in Steyr are in full swing. We would like to inform you about several important updates and reminders that are relevant for all participants.

🗓️ Final Schedule Published

The final schedule for Unicon 22 has now been published.

Compared to earlier versions, some changes have been made. We therefore kindly ask all participants to review the current schedule carefully to stay informed about the planned procedures.

Please note that in individual cases, minor adjustments may still be necessary once registration has closed and the final number of participants is confirmed. This may particularly affect the duration of individual disciplines.

At present, it is also planned that the disciplines 10K and Criterium could still be swapped if necessary. Should any changes occur, we will communicate them in due time.

⏰ Reminder: Payment Deadline & Medical Certificate

Please be reminded that 15 February 2026 is the final payment deadline for the first registration phase. Your registration is only considered complete once payment has been received.

For participation in the competitions, a Medical Fitness Certificate is required for every participant. This medical certificate must confirm fitness to compete, be no older than 12 months, and must be uploaded to the registration portal.

🏑 Team Sports – Important Clarifications

We would like to clarify the following points regarding team sports:

Hockey
There will be a Women’s Tournament and a Junior Tournament (ages 0–16). Registration for both tournaments is team-based only; individual registration is not possible.

Both the Women’s and Junior Hockey tournaments will be held as fun tournaments. No world championship title will be awarded in these tournaments. They can be selected in addition to Hockey A or Hockey B.

Basketball
The Junior Tournament (ages 0–16) will take place if a minimum of six teams is reached. If this number is not met, registered teams will be assigned to the Basketball B tournament.

The Junior Basketball tournament will also be held as a fun tournament with no world championship title. Participation is limited to one tournament only: Basketball A, Basketball B, or Junior.

🎬 Unicon 22 Movie Night

We are excited to announce another program highlight of Unicon 22: the Unicon Movie Night!

The Movie Night will take place on 1 August 2026 and provides a platform for unicycling videos from the community – from individual riders to teams.

Participation requirements & rules:
To submit a video, the following conditions apply:

• Participation requires a Unicon 22 Competitor or Non-Competitor Pass
• Video submission deadline: 19 July 2026
• Maximum video length: 3 minutes
  (exceptions are possible – please coordinate in advance with the Director Jelle Dillen)
• Maximum one video per rider or team
• The video must be in landscape format
• The video must not be published before the Movie Night
• The video must be provided in advance via a cloud link (e.g. WeTransfer or Google Drive)

On the evening of the Movie Night, videos may optionally be released as YouTube premieres. All videos published on YouTube will later be compiled in a Unicon 22 Movie Night playlist.

🛏️ Accommodation & Camping

Children aged 0 to 5 years (U6) may participate free of charge as Non-Competitors.

For children who do not require their own bed, please make sure not to book a bed in the registration portal. In this case, please contact our organization team in advance so we can take this into account when planning accommodation.

Room allocation (who sleeps in which room) will be handled separately at a later date. No action is required at this time.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that we are currently in the final preparation phase to offer a camping area directly at the Unicon Village. Once binding information is available, we will publish it immediately.

The riverside campsite in Steyr is already fully booked. We therefore kindly ask you to refrain from making further inquiries to this campsite.

die Vorbereitungen für die Unicon 22 – Einrad-Weltmeisterschaft 2026 in Steyr laufen auf Hochtouren. Wir möchten euch über einige wichtige Updates und Erinnerungen informieren, die für alle Teilnehmenden relevant sind.

🗓️ Finaler Zeitplan veröffentlicht

Der finale Zeitplan für die Unicon 22 wurde veröffentlicht.

Im Vergleich zu früheren Versionen haben sich noch einige Punkte verändert. Wir bitten daher alle Teilnehmenden, sich mit dem aktuellen Zeitplan vertraut zu machen, damit alle über die geplanten Abläufe informiert sind.

Bitte beachtet, dass es in Einzelfällen noch zu kleinen Anpassungen kommen kann, sobald der Anmeldeschluss erreicht ist und die finalen Teilnehmerzahlen feststehen. In diesem Zuge kann es insbesondere zu leichten Verschiebungen der Dauer einzelner Disziplinen kommen.

Aktuell ist zudem vorgesehen, dass die Disziplinen 10K und Criterium bei Bedarf noch getauscht werden könnten. Sollte es hierzu Änderungen geben, werden wir diese rechtzeitig kommunizieren.

⏰ Erinnerung: Zahlungsfrist & Medical Certificate

Wir möchten euch daran erinnern, dass der 15.02.2026 der letzte Tag zur Bezahlung der ersten Anmeldephase ist. Erst nach Zahlungseingang ist eure Anmeldung verbindlich abgeschlossen.

Für die Teilnahme an den Wettbewerben ist für jede Person ein Medical Fitness Certificate erforderlich. Dieses ärztliche Attest bestätigt die Wettkampftauglichkeit, darf maximal 12 Monate alt sein und muss im Registrierungsportal hochgeladen werden.

🏑 Teamsport – wichtige Klarstellungen

Im Bereich Teamsport möchten wir einige Punkte klarstellen:

Hockey
Es wird ein Damen- sowie ein Junior-Turnier (0–16 Jahre) geben. Für beide Turniere gilt, dass eine Anmeldung ausschließlich als Team möglich ist – eine Einzelanmeldung ist hier nicht vorgesehen.

Sowohl das Damen- als auch das Junior-Hockeyturnier werden als Fun-Turniere ausgetragen. In diesen Turnieren wird kein Weltmeistertitel vergeben. Beide Turniere können zusätzlich zu Hockey A oder Hockey B ausgewählt werden.

Basketball
Das Junior-Turnier (0–16 Jahre) findet ab einer Mindestanzahl von sechs Teams statt. Sollte diese Zahl nicht erreicht werden, werden die angemeldeten Teams dem Basketball B-Turnier zugeordnet.

Auch das Junior-Basketballturnier wird als Fun-Turnier durchgeführt, in dem kein Weltmeistertitel vergeben wird. Eine Teilnahme ist dabei nur an einem Turnier möglich: Basketball A, Basketball B oder Junior.

🎬 Unicon 22 Movie Night

Wir freuen uns, euch einen weiteren Programmpunkt der Unicon 22 ankündigen zu dürfen: die Unicon Movie Night!

Die Movie Night findet am 01.08.2026 statt und bietet eine Bühne für Einrad-Videos aus der Community – von Einzelfahrer bis zu Teams.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen & Regeln:
Um ein Video einzureichen, gelten folgende Punkte:

• Teilnahme ist nur mit einem Unicon 22 Competitor- oder Non-Competitor-Pass möglich
• Abgabefrist für Videos: 19.07.2026
• Maximale Videolänge: 3 Minuten
  (Ausnahmen sind möglich – bitte in diesem Fall vorab mit dem Director Jelle Dillen Rücksprache halten)
• Maximal ein Video pro Fahrer oder Team
• Das Video muss im Querformat (Landscape) vorliegen
• Das Video darf vor der Movie Night nicht veröffentlicht werden
• Das Video muss vorab über einen Cloud-Link (z. B. WeTransfer oder Google Drive) zur Verfügung gestellt werden

Am Abend der Movie Night können Videos auf Wunsch auch als YouTube-Premiere veröffentlicht werden. Alle Videos, die auf YouTube verfügbar sind, werden im Anschluss in einer Unicon 22 Movie Night Playlist zusammengefasst.

Sollten mehr Videos eingereicht werden, als im Rahmen der Movie Night gezeigt werden können, werden 20 Videos für die Vorführung ausgewählt. Alle weiteren eingereichten Videos werden während der Unicon in den Social Areas gezeigt.

🛏️ Unterkunft & Camping

Kinder im Alter von 0 bis 5 Jahren (U6) können als Non-Competitor kostenlos teilnehmen.

Für Kinder, die kein eigenes Bett benötigen, bitten wir darum, kein Bett im Registrierungsportal zu buchen. Bitte meldet euch in diesem Fall vorab bei unserem Organisationsteam, damit wir die Unterkunft entsprechend berücksichtigen können.

Die Abfrage zur Zimmeraufteilung (wer mit wem im Zimmer schläft) erfolgt zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt separat. Aktuell ist hierfür keine Aktion erforderlich.

Zusätzlich möchten wir euch informieren, dass wir uns derzeit in der letzten Phase der Vorbereitung befinden, um einen Campingplatz direkt beim Unicon Village anbieten zu können. Sobald hierzu verbindliche Informationen vorliegen, werden wir diese umgehend veröffentlichen.

Der Campingplatz am Fluss in Steyr ist bereits ausgebucht. Wir bitten daher darum, keine weiteren Anfragen an diesen Campingplatz zu richten.

• 🔹 Phase Early prolongée : La phase Early à tarif réduit est prolongée jusqu’au 15 février 2026. Elle sera suivie des phases d’inscription régulière et tardive.
• 🔹 Competitor & Non-Competitor : Les participants actifs (competitors) ainsi que les accompagnants (non-competitors) s’inscrivent via le même système.
• 🔹 Prestations Unicon : Selon la catégorie, différentes prestations sont incluses, telles que la soirée de clôture, les workshops, les activités, la réservation d’hébergement et bien plus encore.
• 🔹 Options supplémentaires : Les t-shirts, les jours de petit-déjeuner, les navettes Muni et la restauration peuvent être ajoutés lors de l’inscription.

• 🔹 Fase Early ampliada: La fase Early con tarifa reducida se extiende ahora hasta el 15 de febrero de 2026. A continuación seguirán las fases de inscripción regular y tardía.

Newsletter 2 – Freestyle

Compétitions de Freestyle Artistique et de X-Style

Par ce newsletter, nous fournissons des informations détaillées concernant les compétitions de X-Style et de Freestyle Artistique lors de la Unicon 22 – Championnat du monde de monocycle 2026 à Steyr.

L’ensemble de la compétition sera organisé conformément au IUF Rulebook 2019, avec quelques adaptations.

X-Style

Le X-Style se compose des catégories Junior Expert (14 ans ou moins) et Expert. Ces catégories déterminent le « Champion du monde Junior » et le « Champion du monde ».

Nous avons décidé de ne pas appliquer de limitation par pays.

Les groupes de départ, composés de dix riders ou moins, s’affrontent, et les trois meilleurs accèdent au tour suivant.

Limites de temps :
Qualifications : 1 minute
Demi-finales : 1,5 minute
Finales : 2 minutes

Freestyle Artistique

Les compétitions de Freestyle Artistique (individuels, paires et groupes) sont réparties en deux catégories et comprennent des limites d’inscription spécifiques par pays :

• Expert
• Convention Contest

Expert (Championnat du monde)

La catégorie Expert se compose des Junior Expert (14 ans ou moins) et Expert. Ces catégories déterminent le « Champion du monde Junior » et le « Champion du monde ».

Chaque pays est encouragé à nominer ses meilleurs riders pour ces épreuves. Nous serions ravis que le plus grand nombre possible de pays soit représenté.

Limites d’inscription par pays (pour Junior Expert et Expert) :

• 3 individuels féminins
• 3 individuels masculins
• 3 paires
• 3 petits groupes
• 3 grands groupes

Si un pays a obtenu une 1ʳᵉ, 2ᵉ ou 3ᵉ place en individuel Expert ou en paire Expert lors de la Unicon 21, il peut inscrire un compétiteur supplémentaire par place obtenue dans cette catégorie.

Convention Contest

Le Convention Contest comprend uniquement des compétitions individuelles et en paires en Freestyle Artistique.

Groupes d’âge fixes :
U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, U21, U23, U25, 25+

Groupes d’âge non fixes :
U30, U40, U50, U60, 60+

Les groupes d’âge non fixes ne seront créés que s’il y a au moins six prestations dans le groupe concerné.

Limites d’inscription par pays :

• 30 individuels masculins
• 30 individuels féminins
• 30 paires

Chaque pays peut inscrire un maximum de quatre routines par groupe d’âge. Si un pays souhaite inscrire plus de quatre routines dans un groupe d’âge, merci de nous contacter afin de discuter d’une solution possible.

Limites de temps

Les limites de temps sont identiques pour les compétitions Expert et Convention Contest.

Listes des compétiteurs et des juges par pays

Liste des compétiteurs

Les pays ayant plus d’athlètes intéressés que de places disponibles en Freestyle Artistique doivent soumettre une liste de qualification pour les catégories Expert et Convention Contest.

Seuls les athlètes figurant sur ces listes pourront s’inscrire à la compétition de Freestyle Artistique.

Liste des juges

“Parties (Countries/Clubs) that participate at competitions must nominate judges in relation to the number of Artistic Freestyle participants they send” (voir IUF Rulebook 2019).

Afin d’obtenir une vue d’ensemble en amont, nous demandons aimablement à tous les pays de soumettre une liste de juges potentiels de leur pays.

Une demande explicite concernant l’affectation des juges sera publiée sur le site web de la Unicon 22 après la clôture des inscriptions aux épreuves de freestyle.

Les représentants de chaque pays peuvent nous demander directement les listes des compétiteurs et des juges afin de les compléter :

Competiciones de Freestyle Artístico y X-Style

Con este boletín informativo proporcionamos información detallada sobre las competiciones de X-Style y Freestyle Artístico en la Unicon 22 – Campeonato Mundial de Monociclismo 2026 en Steyr.

Toda la competición se regirá por el IUF Rulebook 2019, con algunas adaptaciones.

X-Style

El X-Style se divide en Junior Expert (14 años o menos) y Expert. Estas categorías determinan al “Campeón Mundial Junior” y al “Campeón Mundial”.

Hemos decidido no aplicar ninguna limitación por país.

Los grupos iniciales, compuestos por diez o menos riders, compiten entre sí, y los tres mejores avanzan a la siguiente ronda.

Límites de tiempo:
Preliminares: 1 minuto
Semifinales: 1,5 minutos
Finales: 2 minutos

Freestyle Artístico

Si un país obtuvo el 1.º, 2.º o 3.º puesto en parejas Expert o individuales Expert en la Unicon 21, podrá inscribir un competidor adicional por cada puesto obtenido en esa categoría.

Convention Contest

El Convention Contest incluye únicamente competiciones individuales y de parejas en Freestyle Artístico.

Grupos de edad fijos:
U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, U21, U23, U25, 25+

Grupos de edad no fijos:
U30, U40, U50, U60, 60+

Los grupos de edad no fijos solo se crearán si hay al menos seis actuaciones en el grupo correspondiente.

Newsletter 2 – Freestyle

Artistic Freestyle & X-Style Competitions

With this newsletter, we provide detailed information about the X-Style and Artistic Freestyle competitions at the Unicon 22 – Unicycling World Championship 2026 in Steyr.

The entire competition will follow the IUF Rulebook 2019, with a few adaptations.

X-Style

X-Style consists of Junior Expert (14 years or younger) and Expert. These categories determine the “Junior World Champion” and the “World Champion”.

We have decided not to implement any country limitations.

Starting groups of ten or fewer riders compete against each other, and the best three riders advance to the next round.

Time limits:
Prelims: 1 minute
Semi-finals: 1.5 minutes
Finals: 2 minutes

Artistic Freestyle

Artistic Freestyle competitions (individual, pairs and groups) are divided into two categories and include country-specific entry limits:

• Expert
• Convention Contest

Expert (World Championship)

The Expert consists of Junior Expert (14 years old or younger) and Expert. These categories determine the “Junior World Champion” and the “World Champion”.

Each country is encouraged to nominate its strongest riders for these events. It would be a pleasure if as many countries as possible were represented.

Entry limits per country (for Junior Expert and Expert):

• 3 female individuals
• 3 male individuals
• 3 pairs
• 3 small groups
• 3 large groups

If a country has placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in Expert pair or individual at the Unicon 21, they can submit one additional competitor for each placing in that category.

Convention Contest

The Convention Contest only includes individual and pair competitions in Artistic Freestyle.

Fixed age groups:
U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, U21, U23, U25, 25+

Unfixed age groups:
U30, U40, U50, U60, 60+

The unfixed age groups will only be created if there are at least six performances in the respective group.

Entry limits per country:

• 30 male individuals
• 30 female individuals
• 30 pairs

Each country may submit a maximum of four routines per age group. If a country wishes to submit more than four routines for an age group, please contact us to discuss a possible solution.

Time Limits

The time limits are the same for the Expert and Convention Contest competitions.

List of Competitors and Judges by Country

Competitors list

Countries with more interested athletes than available spots in Artistic Freestyle must submit a qualification list for the Expert and Convention Contest.

Only athletes included on these lists may register for the Artistic Freestyle Competition.

Juges list

“Parties (Countries/Clubs) that participate at competitions must nominate judges in relation to the number of Artistic Freestyle participants they send” (see IUF Rulebook 2019).

To obtain an overview in advance, we kindly request that all countries submit a list of potential judges from their respective countries.

An explicit request for judge assignments will be published on the Unicon 22 homepage after the deadline for registration for freestyle events.

Representatives of each country can request the Competitors and Judges lists directly from us for completion:

We would greatly appreciate it if these lists could be completed in advance by as many participating countries as possible and submitted to us to ensure a smooth running of the competitions.

Artistic Freestyle & X-Style Wettbewerbe

Mit diesem Newsletter informieren wir ausführlich über die X-Style- und Artistic-Freestyle-Wettbewerbe bei der Unicon 22 – Einrad-Weltmeisterschaft 2026 in Steyr.

Der gesamte Wettbewerb wird nach dem IUF Rulebook 2019 durchgeführt, ergänzt durch einige Anpassungen.

X-Style

X-Style umfasst die Kategorien Junior Expert (14 Jahre oder jünger) und Expert. In diesen Kategorien werden der „Junior World Champion“ sowie der „World Champion“ ermittelt.

Wir haben uns entschieden, keine Länderbeschränkungen einzuführen.

Startgruppen mit zehn oder weniger Fahrern treten gegeneinander an, wobei die drei besten Fahrer in die nächste Runde aufsteigen.

Zeitlimits:
Vorrunde: 1 Minute
Halbfinale: 1,5 Minuten
Finale: 2 Minuten

Artistic Freestyle

Die Artistic-Freestyle-Wettbewerbe (Einzel, Paar und Gruppe) sind in zwei Kategorien unterteilt und unterliegen länderspezifischen Startplatzbegrenzungen:

Expert (Weltmeisterschaft)

Die Kategorie Expert umfasst Junior Expert (14 Jahre oder jünger) sowie Expert. In diesen Kategorien werden der „Junior World Champion“ und der „World Champion“ ermittelt.

Jedes Land ist eingeladen, seine stärksten Fahrerinnen und Fahrer für diese Wettbewerbe zu nominieren. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn möglichst viele Nationen vertreten sind.

Startplatzbegrenzungen pro Land (für Junior Expert und Expert):

• 3 weibliche Einzelstarterinnen
• 3 männliche Einzelstarter
• 3 Paare
• 3 Kleingruppen
• 3 Großgruppen

Hat ein Land bei der Unicon 21 in der Kategorie Expert (Einzel oder Paar) den 1., 2. oder 3. Platz belegt, darf pro Platzierung ein zusätzlicher Starter in dieser Kategorie gemeldet werden.

Convention Contest

Der Convention Contest umfasst ausschließlich Einzel- und Paarwettbewerbe im Artistic Freestyle.

Feste Altersklassen:
U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, U21, U23, U25, 25+

Nicht feste Altersklassen:
U30, U40, U50, U60, 60+

Die nicht festen Altersklassen werden nur gebildet, wenn in der jeweiligen Klasse mindestens sechs Darbietungen gemeldet sind.

Startplatzbegrenzungen pro Land:

• 30 männliche Einzelstarter
• 30 weibliche Einzelstarterinnen
• 30 Paare

Pro Altersklasse dürfen maximal vier Kürprogramme eingereicht werden. Sollte ein Land mehr als vier Programme in einer Altersklasse melden wollen, bitten wir um Kontaktaufnahme, um eine mögliche Lösung zu besprechen.

Zeitlimits

Die Zeitlimits gelten gleichermaßen für die Wettbewerbe der Kategorien Expert und Convention Contest.

Listen der Starter und Juroren nach Ländern

Starterliste

Länder mit mehr interessierten Athletinnen und Athleten als verfügbaren Startplätzen im Artistic Freestyle müssen eine Qualifikationsliste für die Kategorien Expert und Convention Contest einreichen.

Nur Athletinnen und Athleten, die auf diesen Listen aufgeführt sind, dürfen sich für die Artistic-Freestyle-Wettbewerbe registrieren.

Jurorenliste

“Parties (Countries/Clubs) that participate at competitions must nominate judges in relation to the number of Artistic Freestyle participants they send” (siehe IUF Rulebook 2019).

Um bereits im Vorfeld einen Überblick zu erhalten, bitten wir alle Länder, eine Liste potenzieller Jurorinnen und Juroren aus ihrem jeweiligen Land einzureichen.

Eine konkrete Abfrage zur Juryeinteilung wird nach Ablauf der Anmeldefrist für die Freestyle-Wettbewerbe auf der Unicon-22-Homepage veröffentlicht.

Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der einzelnen Länder können die Starter- und Jurorenlisten direkt bei uns zur Bearbeitung anfordern:

Wir wären sehr dankbar, wenn diese Listen von möglichst vielen teilnehmenden Ländern frühzeitig ausgefüllt und an uns übermittelt werden, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf der Wettbewerbe zu gewährleisten.

Newsletter 1 – Bienvenue à l’Unicon 22

Voici la première édition de notre newsletter. En raison de défis techniques, nous débutons un peu plus tard que prévu – il est donc d’autant plus important de fournir un aperçu clair et transparent de la situation actuelle.

Informations importantes en un coup d’œil

• Règlement : L’Unicon 22 sera organisé entièrement selon le IUF Rulebook 2019.
• Inscription : L’inscription en ligne n’est pas encore ouverte en raison de la mise en œuvre de cas techniques particuliers. Nous informerons dès qu’elle sera disponible.
• Période d'inscription prolongée : La première phase d’inscription se poursuit désormais jusqu’au 31/01/2026.
• Hébergement : Plusieurs options d’hébergement sont disponibles – détails ci-dessous et sur le site web.

Le lieu : Steyr & l’Autriche

L’Autriche est située au cœur de l’Europe. La langue officielle est l’allemand et la monnaie est l’euro. Se rendre à Steyr est simple grâce aux bonnes liaisons ferroviaires, aériennes et routières.

Steyr sera le centre de l’Unicon 22. C’est ici que se trouvent le Unicon Village et la plupart des sites de compétition. Presque tous les lieux sont accessibles à pied. Le parcours de descente (downhill) est situé hors de la ville (environ une heure de distance) ; un service de navette sera mis en place.

Hébergement – Options pour l’Unicon 22

Plusieurs possibilités d’hébergement sont disponibles à proximité des lieux de l’événement. L’auberge de jeunesse de Steyr et l’hébergement collectif ne peuvent être réservés que via l’inscription en ligne. Une réservation directe auprès des prestataires n’est pas possible.

🏨 Auberge de jeunesse de Steyr

• Chambres partagées (2 à 6 lits), équipement fonctionnel, Wi-Fi, salles communes
• À seulement 5 minutes à pied du Unicon Village
• Réservable exclusivement via l’inscription Unicon
• Période de réservation : uniquement pour toute la durée de l’Unicon (24/07–08/08/2026, 15 nuits)
• Linge de lit à apporter (housses et drap-housse)
• Le petit-déjeuner peut être ajouté en option lors de l’inscription (env. 10 € par jour)

Exemple de prix pour 15 nuits (selon la catégorie de chambre) : env. 513 € par personne en chambre de 4 lits. Les prix exacts et les disponibilités seront indiqués lors du processus d’inscription.

🏫 Hébergement collectif (salles de classe)

• Salles de groupe accueillant env. 10–15 personnes chacune
• Directement à proximité des sites de compétition et du Unicon Village
• Prix : 17,50 € par personne et par nuit
• Réservable uniquement via l’inscription en ligne
• Probablement réservable pour toute la durée ou séparément pour la semaine 1 ou la semaine 2
• Équipement de couchage personnel requis : sac de couchage et matelas/isolant
• Petit-déjeuner en option

L’équipe d’organisation

Un large comité se trouve derrière l’Unicon 22, travaillant ensemble pour créer un événement réussi et inoubliable. Vous trouverez ci-dessous les principaux responsables.

Evelyn Rohn Organisatrice principale Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : Avec mon frère, l’idée de faire venir l’Unicon à Steyr est née. Je souhaite faire mieux connaître le monocycle en Autriche et offrir une expérience unique.

Pascal Rohn Coorganisateur principal / Logistique & infrastructure Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : Avec ma sœur, j’ai eu l’idée de faire venir l’Unicon en Autriche et de l’organiser ici.

Benjamin Fischer Responsable informatique (Coorganisateur principal) Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : Pascal m’a demandé si je pouvais prendre en charge l’informatique. Comme j’ai étudié l’informatique, j’ai accepté. Nous avons l’opportunité de créer des processus modernes et fiables. Lorsque l’un des organisateurs principaux s’est retiré, j’ai également repris la codirection.

Domenik Altmann Coordination des directeurs d’épreuves Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : Après plusieurs participations, je voulais contribuer pour la première fois également sur le plan organisationnel. Créer ensemble une expérience spéciale me motive beaucoup.

Theo Crazzolara Responsable des réseaux sociaux Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : En tant que membre du club de monocycle de Steyr, je soutiens l’Unicon dans le domaine des réseaux sociaux et de la photographie. Grâce à mon expérience professionnelle, je peux contribuer dans de nombreux domaines.

Felix Regelsberger Communication Pourquoi je fais partie de l’équipe : Tous les deux ans, des personnes engagées sont nécessaires pour rendre possible cet événement unique — je suis heureux d’y contribuer.

Newsletter 1 – Bienvenidos a la Unicon 22

Esta es la primera edición de nuestro boletín. Debido a desafíos técnicos, comenzamos un poco más tarde de lo previsto; por ello es aún más importante ofrecer una visión clara y transparente del estado actual.

Información importante de un vistazo

• Reglamento: La Unicon 22 se celebrará íntegramente según el IUF Rulebook 2019.
• Registro: El registro en línea aún no está abierto debido a la implementación de casos técnicos especiales. Informaremos tan pronto como esté disponible.
• Periodo de inscripción ampliado: La primera fase de registro se extiende ahora hasta el 31/01/2026.
• Alojamiento: Hay varias opciones de alojamiento disponibles — detalles más abajo y en la página web.

La sede: Steyr y Austria

Austria se encuentra en el centro de Europa. El idioma oficial es el alemán y la moneda es el euro. Viajar a Steyr es sencillo gracias a sus buenas conexiones por tren, avión y carretera.

Steyr será el centro de la Unicon 22. Aquí se encuentran el Unicon Village y la mayoría de los lugares de competición. Casi todos los espacios se pueden alcanzar fácilmente a pie. La pista de downhill está fuera de la ciudad (a aproximadamente una hora); habrá un servicio de transporte.

Alojamiento – Opciones para la Unicon 22

Para la Unicon 22 hay varias opciones de alojamiento cerca de los lugares del evento. El albergue juvenil de Steyr y el alojamiento en aulas solo pueden reservarse a través del registro en línea. No es posible reservar directamente con los proveedores.

🏨 Albergue Juvenil Steyr

• Habitaciones compartidas (2–6 camas), equipamiento funcional, wifi, salas comunes
• A solo 5 minutos a pie del Unicon Village
• Reservable exclusivamente a través del registro de la Unicon
• Periodo de reserva: únicamente para toda la duración de la Unicon (24/07–08/08/2026, 15 noches)
• Se requiere ropa de cama propia (fundas y sábana ajustable)
• El desayuno puede añadirse opcionalmente durante el registro (aprox. 10 € al día)

Ejemplo de precios para 15 noches (según categoría): aprox. 513 € por persona en habitación de 4 camas. Los precios exactos y las disponibilidades se muestran durante el registro.

🏫 Alojamiento en aulas (Massenunterkunft)

• Salas grupales con aprox. 10–15 personas por sala
• Junto a los lugares de competición y al Unicon Village
• Precio: 17,50 € por persona y noche
• Solo reservable a través del registro en línea
• Probablemente disponible para todo el periodo o por separado para la semana 1 o la semana 2
• Se requiere equipo de descanso propio: saco de dormir y esterilla
• El desayuno puede añadirse opcionalmente

El alojamiento en aulas es ideal para clubes y grupos grandes. Más información seguirá cuando se confirmen todos los detalles organizativos.

Detrás de la Unicon 22 hay un gran equipo que trabaja conjuntamente para crear un evento inolvidable y exitoso. A continuación presentamos a los responsables principales.

Evelyn Rohn Organizadora principal Por qué formo parte del equipo: Junto con mi hermano surgió la idea de traer la Unicon a Steyr. Quiero dar más visibilidad al monociclo en Austria y crear una experiencia especial.

Pascal Rohn Coorganizador principal / Logística e infraestructura Por qué formo parte del equipo: Tuve la idea junto con mi hermana de traer la Unicon a Austria y celebrarla aquí.

Benjamin Fischer Responsable de TI (Coorganizador principal) Por qué formo parte del equipo: Pascal me preguntó si podía encargarme de la TI. Como estudié informática, acepté. Tenemos la oportunidad de crear procesos modernos y estables. Cuando uno de los organizadores principales dejó su cargo, asumí además la codirección.

Domenik Altmann Coordinación de directores de evento Por qué formo parte del equipo: Tras varias participaciones, quise contribuir por primera vez también en el área organizativa. Crear juntos una experiencia especial me motiva mucho.

Theo Crazzolara Responsable de redes sociales Por qué formo parte del equipo: Como miembro del club de monociclo de Steyr, apoyo a la Unicon en redes sociales y fotografía. Gracias a mi experiencia profesional puedo contribuir en muchas áreas.

Felix Regelsberger Comunicación Por qué formo parte del equipo: Cada dos años se necesitan personas comprometidas para hacer posible este evento tan especial — me alegra aportar mi parte.

Newsletter 1 – Welcome to Unicon 22

This is the first edition of our newsletter. Due to technical challenges, we are starting a bit later than planned – making it all the more important to provide a clear and transparent overview of the current status.

Key Information at a Glance

• Rulebook: Unicon 22 will be held entirely according to the IUF Rulebook 2019.
• Registration: Online registration is not yet open due to the implementation of technical special cases. We will inform you as soon as it becomes available.
• Extended registration period: The first registration phase now runs until January 31, 2026.
• Accommodation: Several accommodation options are available – details below and on the website.

The Host Location: Steyr & Austria

Austria is centrally located in Europe. The official language is German, and the currency is the Euro. Travelling to Steyr is straightforward thanks to good rail, air and road connections.

Steyr will be the center of Unicon 22. This is where the Unicon Village and most competition venues are located. Almost all locations are within easy walking distance. The downhill course is outside the city (about an hour away); a shuttle service will be provided.

Accommodation – Options for Unicon 22

Several accommodation options are available near the event venues for Unicon 22. The Youth Hostel Steyr and the group accommodation can only be booked through online registration. Direct booking with the providers is not possible.

🏨 Youth Hostel Steyr

• Shared rooms (2–6 beds), functional equipment, Wi-Fi, common rooms
• Only about a 5-minute walk from the Unicon Village
• Bookable exclusively through Unicon registration
• Booking period: only for the full Unicon duration (24 July–8 August 2026, 15 nights)
• Own bed linen required (covers and fitted sheet)
• Breakfast can be added optionally during registration (approx. €10 per day)

Example prices for 15 nights (depending on room category): approx. €513 per person in a 4-bed room. Exact prices and availability are shown during the registration process.

🏫 Group Accommodation (Classrooms)

• Group rooms with approx. 10–15 people per room
• Directly next to competition venues and the Unicon Village
• Price: €17.50 per person per night
• Only bookable through online registration
• Expected to be bookable for the full duration or separately for week 1 or week 2
• Own sleeping equipment required: sleeping bag and mat
• Breakfast can be added optionally

The group accommodation is ideal for clubs and larger groups. Further information will follow once all organisational details are confirmed.

The Organising Team

Behind Unicon 22 is a large team working together to create a successful and unforgettable event. Below we introduce key team members.

Evelyn Rohn Main Organiser Why I am part of the team: Together with my brother, the idea arose to bring Unicon to Steyr. I want to make unicycling more well-known in Austria and create a special experience.

Pascal Rohn Co-Main Organiser / Logistics & Infrastructure Why I am part of the team: I had the idea together with my sister to bring Unicon to Austria and host it here.

Benjamin Fischer Head of IT (Co-Main Organiser) Why I am part of the team: Pascal asked me if I could take care of the IT. Since I studied computer science, I agreed. We have the opportunity to build modern and stable processes. When one of the main organisers later stepped down, I also took on the role of co-director.

Domenik Altmann Coordination of Event Directors Why I am part of the team: After several participations, I wanted to contribute organisationally for the first time. Creating a special experience together is a great motivation for me.

Theo Crazzolara Head of Social Media Why I am part of the team: As a member of the Steyr unicycling club, I support Unicon in social media and photography. With my professional experience, I can contribute in many areas.

Felix Regelsberger Communication Why I am part of the team: Every two years, committed people are needed to make this unique event possible – I am happy to contribute.

Dies ist die erste Ausgabe unseres Newsletters. Aufgrund technischer Herausforderungen starten wir etwas später als geplant – umso wichtiger ist es, einen klaren und transparenten Überblick über den aktuellen Stand zu geben.

Wichtige Informationen auf einen Blick

• Regelwerk: Die Unicon 22 wird vollständig nach dem IUF Rulebook 2019 ausgerichtet.
• Registrierung: Die Online-Registrierung ist aufgrund Umsetzung technischer Sonderfälle noch nicht geöffnet. Wir informieren, sobald sie freigeschaltet ist.
• Verlängerte Anmeldephase: Die erste Registrierungsphase läuft nun bis zum 31.01.2026.
• Unterkunft: Mehrere Unterkunftsoptionen stehen zur Verfügung – Details unten und auf der Website.

Der Austragungsort: Steyr & Österreich

Österreich liegt zentral in Europa. Die Amtssprache ist Deutsch, die Währung ist der Euro. Die Anreise nach Steyr ist dank guter Bahn-, Flug- und Straßenverbindungen unkompliziert.

Steyr wird das Zentrum der Unicon 22. Hier befinden sich das Unicon Village und die meisten Wettkampfstätten. Fast alle Orte sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Downhill-Strecke liegt außerhalb (ca. eine Stunde entfernt); hierfür wird ein Shuttle-Service eingerichtet.

Unterkunft – Optionen für die Unicon 22

Für die Unicon 22 stehen mehrere Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Veranstaltungsorten zur Verfügung. Die Jugendherberge Steyr und die Massenunterkunft können ausschließlich im Zuge der Online-Registrierung gebucht werden. Eine direkte Buchung bei den jeweiligen Anbietern ist nicht möglich.

• Eigene Bettwäsche erforderlich (Bezug und Spannbetttuch)
• Frühstück kann bei der Registrierung optional dazugebucht werden (ca. 10 € pro Tag)

Beispielpreise für 15 Nächte (je nach Zimmerkategorie): ca. 513 € pro Person im 4-Bett-Zimmer. Genaue Preise und Kontingente findest du im Registrierungsprozess.

• Unmittelbar an Wettkampfstätten und dem Unicon Village
• Preis: 17,50 € pro Person und Nacht
• Nur über die Online-Registrierung buchbar
• Voraussichtlich buchbar für den gesamten Zeitraum sowie getrennt für Woche 1 oder Woche 2
• Eigene Schlafausstattung notwendig: Schlafsack und Matte
• Frühstück kann optional dazugebucht werden

Das Organisationsteam

Hinter der Unicon 22 steht ein großes Team, das gemeinsam daran arbeitet, ein erfolgreiches und unvergessliches Event zu gestalten. Nachfolgend stellen wir zentrale Verantwortliche vor.

Evelyn Rohn Hauptorganisatorin Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Gemeinsam mit meinem Bruder entstand die Idee, die Unicon nach Steyr zu holen. Ich möchte das Einradfahren in Österreich bekannter machen und ein besonderes Erlebnis schaffen.

Pascal Rohn Co-Hauptorganisator / Logistik & Infrastruktur Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Ich hatte gemeinsam mit meiner Schwester die Idee, die Unicon nach Österreich zu bringen und hier auszurichten.

Benjamin Fischer Leitung IT (Co-Hauptorganisator) Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Pascal hat mich gefragt, ob ich die IT übernehmen möchte. Da ich Informatik studiert habe, habe ich zugesagt. Wir haben die Chance, moderne und stabile Abläufe zu schaffen. Als später ein Hauptorganisator ausgeschieden ist, habe ich zusätzlich die Co-Direktion übernommen.

Domenik Altmann Koordination der Eventdirektionen Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Nach mehreren Teilnahmen wollte ich erstmals auch organisatorisch mitwirken. Gemeinsam ein besonderes Erlebnis zu gestalten, motiviert mich sehr.

Theo Crazzolara Leitung Social Media Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Als Mitglied des Steyrer Einradvereins unterstütze ich die Unicon im Bereich Social Media und Fotografie. Mit meiner beruflichen Erfahrung kann ich in vielen Bereichen beitragen.

Felix Regelsberger Kommunikation Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Alle zwei Jahre braucht es engagierte Menschen, um dieses besondere Event möglich zu machen – ich freue mich, meinen Beitrag leisten zu können.

Marielle Klein Website Warum ich Teil des Teams bin: Benny hat mich gefragt, ob ich bei der Website unterstützen kann. Da ich Informatik studiere, habe ich zugesagt und freue mich, Teil des Teams zu sein.
